I wanted to do the gas card deal at Publix and I had $10.00 off $50.00 coupons from Lowes Foods which my Publix accepts.  I wanted to get a card for Exxon/Mobil so I could earn some Plenti points when we get gas to spend at Rite Aid.  I had a rain check for Huggies diapers which was written as $5.00 per pack when you buy two with a limit of four or I would have picked up some more.

Publix Shopping Trip 4/28/2015

I finally received something in the mail from the Publix Baby Club!  They sent me a book, magazine, letter, and 2 pages of coupons!  They had a sale on Huggies diapers that looked like it was ending today so I wanted to go pick up some more diapers for Lily since I got coupons to get free wipes with the diapers.  When I got to the store though both shelves of Huggies jumbo packs were empty!  So I asked for a rain check to pick them up another time.  I was planning on getting enough items to use a Harris Teeter $15 off $75 coupon so I did the math on buying the boxes of diapers instead and decided it was a good enough deal to get them. 

I had a rain check for DulcoGas and wanted to get all 8 but the rain check was going to expire soon and they have not had more than 7 the past few times I have been there so I just picked up the 7 they had in stock.

The BOGO coupons for the Playtex rang up full price at $7.99 so I got enough overage from them to basically cover the cost of the diapers!

Publix Shopping Trip 4/8/2015

Lily and I went to Publix for the first time today.  Publix has been open for a few months now but we just never made the trip there.  I just wanted to get a few things and was able to find them fairly easily.  I love that they accept competitor coupons and their prices seem reasonable.

They were out of DulcoGas though and actually when I found where it should have been an associate asked me if I needed help with anything.  I told her I was looking for DulcoGas but they were out so she said "no problem, I'll write you a raincheck!"  So she went off, wrote a raincheck and brought it back to me.  She talked to me for quite a while, and even went to the bakery to get cookies for Lily and I!

So many associates came over to play with Lily and of course she soaked up all the attention.  The cashier was very nice and another associate came over to bag my items, then escorted me out to my car and put my groceries into the car.  Before going back into the store he handed me a coupon to use on my next shopping trip to get free vanilla pound cake.  I loved their customer service and look forward to going back there to shop some more.

I was not expecting the extra $1.00 to come off from the Alexia products.  The woman I spoke with said that the digital coupons were also manufacturer coupons and are considered that in the system so they can be stacked with a Publix coupon but are not supposed to be stacked with other manufacturer coupons.  I believe that because my cashier hand input all my coupons that the extra digital coupon came off.
