First day of Super Doubles! I had a great time today meeting up and shopping with another local couponer. We lost track of time while talking and shopping. We ended up being at the store for almost 3 hours! I had a few issues at check out with some of my coupons so the manager had to come over and manually input them. While doing so he realized that my sub total was going to be negative because my balance was only $4.33 and my last 3 coupons after doubling would have been another $4.50 off my total. So he went through my whole receipt and took off a coupon that had fully doubled on the potatoes and then manually input it again for only the cost of the potatoes.
After leaving the store I checked my receipt and since the manager manually input the coupons I was still able to have 5 more double on my card for the day. I stopped into another Harris Teeter on my way home to use up 5 more coupons.
