I have some old reason checks from the +UP system and wanted to know how those rain checks would be handled when I redeemed them. The manager told me they would ring them up the same as before, +UP amount taken off during the transaction. We also talked about rain checks with the new system and she said they would be done the same, the point equivalent in dollars would be taken of during the transaction the rain check is redeemed. The stores do not have the ability to add points to a Plenti account.
So far the program is working well and customers like it from what they have experienced. I did just a small transaction to start building my Rite Aid money back up. They were out of the large money making items I wanted to pick up but that is expected on a Friday. I need to get out earlier next week. I picked up some Rite Aid brand items to use the 300 points when you spend $15 on Rite Aid brands products coupon. A small money making transaction overall.
